Meet Our Chiropractors
Dr. Rod Guerrero
Dr. Rod studied chiropractic at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. Prior to entering the chiropractic program he completed a double degree in Molecular Biology and Biomedical Science at Murdoch University.
My first adjustment was when I was 21, I had been suffering from debilitating low back pain which was severely impacting my ability to live a normal life. After my first adjustment I felt instant relief and felt 80% better, I can remember thinking that I wished I had known what chiropractic could do for me earlier.
That moment, after receiving my first adjustment, will always be special to me. That was when I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor and have the same life changing impact in the lives of my patients. I was enrolled in the chiropractic program at Murdoch University 6 months later and spent the next 5 years realizing my dream.
I have studied and continue to develop a keen interest in treating families, particularly young persons-from infancy to adolescence-and pregnant mothers. Being the father of three young boys, I know the importance of a fully functioning nervous system from a early age. Through chiropractic you can find a higher level of well-being in your health, body and mind; allowing you to reach your full potential.
My mission is to empower the people I see to achieve a new level of health. Chiropractic is a powerful, natural method of health care and by enlightening my patients about better health choices, I hope to assist them to achieve their goals and aspirations, whatever they may be.
Dr. Lauren Guerrero
Dr. Guerrero is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and started her practice in Kanata in 2013. She was raised in Kanata and completed her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa.
Chiropractic has always been a part of my life. After experiencing first-hand the benefits of chiropractic care, my parents brought me for my first adjustment when I was just two weeks old. Although I don’t remember my first adjustment, I certainly remember the woman who inspired me to become a chiropractor, Dr. Andrea Fefferman.
I started seeing Dr. Fefferman at the Family Chiropractic Centre when I was three years old after my family moved to the Kanata area. Going to the chiropractor was part of our regular routine; month after month getting adjusted helped me to live an active and healthy life. It allowed me to function at the highest level regardless of the roadblocks that presented.
I knew from an early age that I was meant to be a chiropractor – my keen interest in helping people as well as my desire to bring natural and effective healthcare to others attracted me to chiropractic.
I am passionate about assisting people to resolve any health concerns they have, as well as guiding them to achieve an even higher level of health with positive lifestyle choices.
Dr. Matthew Dick
Chiropractic has always been an important part of my life, receiving my first adjustment from my father moments after birth. While I don’t recall my first adjustment, chiropractic care continued to influence my childhood. Playing sports like hockey, basketball, soccer, and golf growing up, I am grateful for the chiropractic care I received that helped me stay healthy and active.
What drove me to pursue a career in chiropractic was a fascination with the human body and it’s remarkable capabilities. I really enjoyed learning about how the body works and what it can achieve when unimpeded. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, I studied chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
I find the most rewarding part of what I do is getting to see patients return to the activities they love. If your health is getting in the way of your life, I embrace the opportunity to address your health concerns so you can get back to doing what you love. I have a strong belief that our health is influenced every day by the decisions we make, and I am excited to work with you to help inform these decisions and help you achieve your full health potential.
